Cookie Policy
Version 1.0 · Effective 15 October 2026
1. How we use cookies
Cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) store or read information on your device. The website stores one item that is strictly necessary. Everything else is optional, off by default, and is requested from third parties only after you allow it. You can accept, reject, or choose by category, and change your mind at any time.
2. What is used
| Name / technology | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| cookie-consent-v2 (local storage) | LunitonAI (first party) | Remembers your choices, the version of this notice you saw and when you chose. | Until you clear it or change your choice | Strictly necessary |
| _ga, _ga_<container ID> (cookies) | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors and measures page views and engagement. | Up to 2 years by default (set by Google; configurable in the Google account) | Analytics (consent) |
| Google Tag Manager loader | Loads tags configured in our Tag Manager container. The loader itself sets no cookies; tags it runs may. | Depends on the tags | Analytics or Marketing (consent) | |
| Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights (no cookies) | Vercel | Counts page views and measures loading performance. They set no cookies and store nothing on your device, but they collect request and device data, so we load them only with your Analytics consent. | Set by Vercel's retention settings | Analytics (consent) |
Google cookie names and durations are the defaults documented by Google; they were not observed on the live site because analytics is off until consent is given. We do not set marketing cookies ourselves. If marketing tags are enabled in Google Tag Manager, they run only if you allow Marketing.
3. Consent mode
Before you choose, Google consent signals (analytics storage, ad storage, ad user data, ad personalisation) are set to “denied” and no Google script is requested. Allowing Analytics grants analytics storage; allowing Marketing grants the advertising signals.
4. Changing or withdrawing your choice
- Use “Cookie settings” in the footer or the shield button at the bottom right of any page.
- When you withdraw consent we tell Google tags that consent is denied, delete the Google cookies listed above and stop sending analytics events. A script already loaded in the current page stays inactive and is not loaded again on the next page view.
- You can also delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings.
